The Last Bandits reconvened 3 years later for a further single. The line-up this time
was Carmody, O'Byrne & Steiger from the Golden Horde joined by Nikki Sudden,
Waterboys Steve Wickham & Anthony Whistlewaite, John Connors (bass) and
Peter O'Kennedy (drums).

In 1984 Eamon Carr, Joe Ambrose & B.P. Fallon founded The Boy George
Welcoming Committee which satirically sought a civic reception in Ireland
for the Culture Club singer who was of Irish descent. With the help of
Johnny Fean and the Golden Horde,
they recorded a single under the name The Saints And Scholars--from The
